Making Every Drop Count

Summer is in full swing. The sun’s blazing and it’s July, which is Smart Irrigation Month. Started by the Irrigation Association, Smart Irrigation Month is all about raising awareness of efficient water use through better irrigation practices and technologies.

As licensed contractors, we’re in a great position to lead the way. This month is a timely reminder to check in on how we’re managing water. Are we using weather-based controllers? Are we setting up drip systems where they make sense? Are we educating our crews and clients on proper run times and seasonal adjustments? These small steps add up to big savings. Not just in water, but in time and money too.

Also, don’t forget to take a little time for yourself this summer. Whether it’s a day at the beach, a backyard BBQ, or just enjoying a cold drink after a long day. Be sure to make space to enjoy the season.

The chapter will be saying goodbye to summer with a fun and social baseball event on August 23. Join us at the Anaheim Stadium where we’ll enjoy some cornhole and a tailgate in the parking lot before heading in to watch the Angels play the Cubs. This is a great event to bring your crews and families to. I hope to see you there!
