Water Conservation
CLCA takes water conservation very seriously and is committed to promoting and practicing water-saving measures to conserve our state's water supply.  That's why we've created a new Water Management Certification Program in order to provide our contractor's with the training and experience needed to assist consumers in saving water and money that would otherwise go down the drain.  Click here to see a list of CLCA-certified water managers.

Learn the Six Principles to Leverage Business Success
at May 9 Chapter Lunch Meeting
• Meeting Starts at 11:30 a.m. at Dave & Buster’s in Irvine

You definitely don’t want to miss our May 9 lunch meeting at Dave and Buster’s in Irvine where we will have Dr. Ray Wheeler, President of Leadership Praxis, as our keynote speaker.  Dr. Wheeler will identify six vital principles you can use today to work “on your business” to leverage your efforts, have more fun and maximize your income.  No matter what your level, whether you’re an entrepreneur or a business owner, you will find value in this multi-disciplinary review of what makes the operations of great companies tick.

The six principles Dr. Wheeler will introduce and discuss are:
Learn. Transition from working harder to building momentum.
Link. Persistently connect your team’s activities to how they build value for your customers.
Leverage. Identify who and what contributes to how your company delivers value.
Lead.  Find and close the gaps in how your company creates value. Reduce waste and
  increase efficiency.
Launch. Establish a culture of value building - not just a process.
Look. It is not always possible to anticipate market shifts; it is possible to anticipate how your
organization will respond to unexpected changes.

This lunch meeting starts at 11:30 a.m. and will be hosted at Dave & Buster’s (inside the Irvine Spectrum).  There will be a buffet-style lunch served, which is included in the $25 cost to attend.  Cost for non-CLCA members is $35.  The meeting is scheduled to conclude by 1:30 p.m.  Dave and Buster’s is located at 71 Fortune Drive, Irvine, CA 92618. RSVP your attendance to Bronwyn Miller at eyescapes@yahoo.com or (949) 466-1222.
