A Season of Opportunity

Welcome to the busy time of year for all us industry professionals. With current projects underway, more scheduled to begin, and maintenance accounts looking great, business remains active. While cash flow is tighter under current market conditions, there are still plenty of opportunities for proactive and open-minded industry professionals.

With our Southern California fire season in full swing and changes in state landscaping ordinances aimed at reducing fire damage and danger to homes and businesses, there are ample opportunities to ramp up additional business by modifying your existing business model and incorporating some of the new and emerging opportunities that continue to evolve. Taking advantage of opportunities as they present themselves is paramount in our industry and in a world that is changing rapidly.

Our chapter has successfully presented Lunch & Learns about new and emerging business opportunities. As a chapter board, we have worked consistently to provide the best events and atmosphere to network, learn, share ideas, discuss challenges, and celebrate success stories.

I hope all of you industry pros with landscape and maintenance projects to showcase entered our annual Beautification Awards competition. To all the sponsors and supporters of our chapter, thank you for your continued support of our chapter and your love for the industry.

Be sure to visit www.clca.org/benefits to see all the benefits available to our members and take advantage of them. They are an important part of your membership benefits package as part of the CLCA family.

See you out on the trails soon.
